In pursuance of the requisition made by the Uttarakhand Government, the Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board, Dehradun invites application for the 712 vacant posts of Medical Officers (ordinary grade).

Name of The Post: Ordinary Grade Medical Officer
No. of Vacancies: 712
Age: Min 21 years and Max 42 as on 01-07-2017
Pay Scale: Rs 56100-177500, (Level-10)
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must have at least M.B.B.S. Degree or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Provided that the candidates who have to hold Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or Equivalent Educational degree recognized by Medical Council of India Act, 1956, shall be preferred in selection.
- Prior to appointment in the Service, registration with the Uttarakhand Medical Council is mandatory.
Marital Status:
A male candidate who has more than one wife living or a female candidate who has married a man, already having a wife living shall not be eligible for appointment to a post in the service.
Fees:
- General Candidate and Other Backward Class – Rs. 2000
- Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes, Ex-Serviceman and Physically handicapped of Uttarakhand Domicile -Rs. 1000.
- Candidate deposited application fee through Net Banking/ Debit card. Once the fee is deposited it is non-refundable in any circumstances.
