Name of The POST: PGT (Home Science)-Female
No.of Vacancies: (Total-114)- (UR-52, OBC-32, SC-19, ST-11) including PH-3 (VH-1, OH-2).
Age Limit: Not Exceeding 36 Years, Relaxation in upper age limit available to for SC/ST/ OBC/Departmental candidate/ExSm/PH in accordance with the general orders issued from time to time by Central Govt.
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4800 Group: ‘B’
Educational Qualification:
(a) B.Sc. Home Sc.)
OR
OR
(b) B.Ed. from a recognized university provided the teacher has satisfactorily pursued a condensed course in Home Science through three consecutive summer institutes or through one year evening course.
Kashmiri Migrant Teachers:- One time relaxation in the upper age limit for the numbers of years served as teacher in Dte. Of Education.
Guest/Contract teachers:-
Relaxation in upper age as a one time measure upto the actual time spent as guest/contract teacher in Dte. Of Education, subject to a maximum of 5 years provided they have worked for atleast 120 working days in that particular year (this would be applicable to those guest/contract teachers who have worked for the academic years 2012-13, 2013-14,2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17).
